I have a ticket for speeding in a construction zone, but the cop wrote the wrong date and color of vehicle?
They gave me a speeding ticket in Georgia, 76 in a 50 construction zone, police wrote 2010 instead of 2009 and also the color of the vehicle is wrong, over the speed limit was about to change where my ticket at 70 mph, I do no chance of winning the case?
There is no obligation legal to dismiss a ticket due to an error. The ticket can be changed at any time. I've seen tickets dismissed because of an error on rare occasions, but that's a matter of discretion the judge, and not a matter of law. In such cases, the error is directly related to the crime. The color of your car is negligible for the offense, and the date can easily be explained due to the fact that has not happened yet. The fact was the speed limit "to change" will not be considered by the court, especially in an area construction.
