What to do with white fish found in the freezer?

I found largeish 'zip lock out some kind of white fish. I'm not sure what it is ... It's a little freezer burn on top but would cut off smoothly. let thaw in cold water and put the chili oil held to be absorbed into the meat as it thaws. I'm going to cook for dinner tonight, but I can not think of anything to do with it. Bake? Pan you consume? Poach in a corbullion? MANY PEOPLE DO THIS, even myself, some restaurants are guilty of this too, so if the ISN'T FRESH FISH, that what you are getting. Best you can do with a fish like that is MARINADE the heck out of it with some strong spice, but I really suggest is to cut and serve a kind of tomato sauce, you SEAFOOD MARINARA could make and serve over angel hair pasta, or you can do as my mother would have done MAKE STEW, cut some potatoes, spices and a can of tomatoes stewed tomatoes and cook sauce to simmer, then add the last fish boil for twenty minutes, it takes everyone FISH OUT OF EVIL, FOR LEAVING THE TASTE OF FISH OTHER INGREDIENTS.
