I'm trying to install an icemaker kit, mesh tubes are going to work?
The necklace in the kit is supposed to make a hole directly in the pipeline after the water supply line connecting to the refrigerator. I went to do this the other day and found that the pipe underneath the sink mesh is silver. (Twisted?) So going to work? Or put the neck on the line going to leak?
No-line taps are designed for copper tubing. braided lines should never be drilled. The good news, not an accessory designed for your application. Want a compression shirt with a fourth on the branch line of ice. Visit a local plumbing or hardware store (not the orange or blue stores know nothing) and explain your situation. You could even consider a braided line for the icemaker supply if it is not too far.
