How should I store milk and meat with a refrigerator?
I lived in the forest once was a super insulated cooler 5 days. I blocks of ice on the farm and put them under a shelf rigged facts cooling racks. It worked well. Like a fridge I guess. Other methods, particularly which do not require ice procurring? What is an appropriate temperature for meat and dairy? I know a little about the root cellars. Is there any way that could store fresh goat milk here? Do people have used to dip things in the wells?
They often use wells to cool. It more important for dairy products like milk and cheese is to prevent between 35 F and 40 and so is the meat that is thawed or fresh and waiting to be used. The meat should be used up within a day or two. If a well is that the temperature is going to work for you. Keeping things frozen without ice is almost impossible with the cooling modern place.
