Find an appliance shop in the area. Something like Bowen Island appliance stores in a google search should start. Call them and explain what you would like to do and see if they can do that. You will not be able to do online, you need to call. There should be no problem for you. The other thing we could do is have your friends pick the one you want, and when going to buy, call you for a credit card. The store should be able to let them do this, as you are the card holder authorizing the transaction. In reality, no different from paying for a pizza when you order.
